Ribbed Bars and wire are commonly used to tie masonry or concrete walls to slabs or footings.
The ribbed profile improves bonding to concrete and minimises concrete cracking, in comparison to smooth wire profiles. Made to the Australian Standard ASNZS4671 (except 71765).
